The Fortnightly || What I Have Been Enjoying Recently #07

It’s been a hell of a couple of weeks (I moved house on Friday so I am *slightly* out of sorts), so let’s just crack right on with everything I have been loving from the past two weeks (which isn’t much, so forgive me!).

What I’ve been enjoying lately…

This article by the Metro discusses four ways you can help end period poverty.

Sophie talks about how getting a cat has made her a lot happier, something which I can relate to since adopting my little pickle!

These pictures show the difference the seasons make on an island in Finland and it is fascinating.

Anna has posted the most articulate blog post I have ever seen, on why freelancers can’t and shouldn’t work for free.

Everything The Wine and Crime podcast produces is brilliant and the three hosts, Kenyan, Lucy and Amanda have me in stitches every week. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a podcast where three friends drink wine and talk about true crime, while getting drunker and drunker throughout. A recent episode titled ‘crimes that inspired best-sellers’ is brilliant as they interview an investigative journalist who has interviewed and written about numerous serial killers. It’s a fascinating episode if you are a true crime geek and don’t mind a bit of dark humour!

Stephie of A Cup of Creative has been *killing* it recently with her blog posts and this think-piece on the contradictory nature of how we judge how women dress is brave and so well written.
