Wonderful Wednesday || November

CHRISTTTMASSS……THE SNOW’S COMING DOWWWWWWN.

Okay not quite, but now we are nearly in December all the Christmas songs are been played full blast – my favourite being Michael Buble’s version of Baby Please Come Home and also Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses. What’s your favourite festive number?

Now, while you have Micheal Buble playing in your head, let’s find out the best, most wonderful, moments of my November.

Treat Yo Self  This mentality has been fun (I’ve got so many cute bits and bobs), but certainly not great for my bank balance. So far treating myself has involved buying a rather pricey perfume, lots of Christmas decorations, a fair few woolly jumpers and some absolutely gorgeous walking boots. This month has been pretty heavy on the expenditure front (so close to Christmas too!), but LOL sod it. TREAT YOSELF.

A good haircut There is just something so satisfying about coming away with a sleek new look. No?  My hair has not been behaving lately, wanting to curl and frizz at the first sign of dampness in the air. Turns out I just needed a bloody good haircut!

Bohemian Rhapsody OH LORDY that film is so damn good. So good in fact, I went to see it twice. I like Queens songs but I would never have called myself a *fan*. Now I can’t stop blasting their music around the house (their songs are great to clean too!). The film, for those who haven’t heard, is a musical biopic of Freddie Mercury’s life – following Queen from when they first began until their iconic Live Aid Performance in 1984. Rami Malek is *excellent* as Freddie Mercury and the music scenes are just phenomenal. It’s a film that absolutely must be seen on the big screen – even if you aren’t a Queen fan, you’ll be tapping your foot along I promise.

Spontaneous friend visits Earlier on in the month a friend just called around for a coffee, spontaneously as she was in the area. It was laaavely. I think I can add that to the list of things that make me feel like a proper grown up.

Really *really* good cupcakes Not far from my house there is a bloody good cupcake shop which is incredibly dangerous as I am constantly resisting the urge to pick myself up a new flavour whenever I’m in town. As I had organised a surprise get-together for a friends birthday, I thought I’d treat us all to a cupcake and damn that was a good shout. The flavours including delights such as white chocolate and raspberry, cookie dough and caramel shortcake. OOOFT.

Prague Towards the end of the month we spent a glorious three days in Prague, a wonderful place but my word it was bloody cold. It snowed (SNOW!), we ate ourselves silly and we slowly wandered around the tiny cobbled streets, wrapped up head to toe. It was the first type of city-break where I didn’t rush to cram everything in. We may not have ticked off all of the touristy things, but we took it at our own pace and it certainly suited me a lot better. It’s a place that I would definitely return too – it’s absolutely beautiful!

November was bloody brilliant and I already know December is going to be amazing as in 5 sleeps I’ll be going to New York (yes I am VERY excited!). If you wanted to catch up with more lovely lists, check out the inspiration behind it all – Sally Tangle as well as JoCatSamPetaEl and Ellie
