April Round Up

With Spring in full bloom and being blessed with not one but two bank holidays, April has allowed me to enjoy a slower pace of life (despite the painfully mandatory revision cramming), compared to March, which was all about them essays. This bank holiday I am jetting off to Poland to attend a close friends wedding, a two-day event of non-stop drinking, so I expect to come back with a heavily induced vodka hangover (dear lord, good luck future me!).

Wonderful Wednesday #27

Despite the painful revision cramming which is making me want to run into the woods and live off the land (or if I wasn’t such a feminist, marry a rich man!), there has been some wonderful little happy moments over the past seven days. As I need to get back to another revision sess *sigh*, I’ll just crack right on.

Throughout life, society teaches you to fit yourself neatly into boxes; optimist vs pessimists, girly vs tomboy, extrovert vs introvert. I have always struggled with binary categories, but as I often do what I am told, I identified with one or the other and it never occurred to me you could be both all at once.

Wonderful Wednesday #26

This week’s Wonderful Wednesday is packed to the brim, with all sorts of wonderfulness happening as of late! As it was mine and the boyfs four year anniversary over the weekend, we decided to take advantage of bank holiday and go away somewhere to celebrate. We landed on the Cotswolds, a very romantic destination that was the perfect little get-away. Now is back to reality, as revision and graduate job hunting loom, but after four days away from the same ole, some ole, I feel refreshed and ready to take on the world, one boring revision card at a time!
