It has been nearly a whole year since I discovered I had a dairy intolerance. At first, I thought it was the end of the world. My whole hobby relied wholly on butter, milk and cream. Taking dairy away from the baking world seemed like an impossibility.
Having started and finished an essay in the past week, I am glad that this week is coming to an end. I was determined to finish my
really long and boring essay so that I could enjoy February half term at home with my family, but it does mean this past week has resulted in me not seeing much daylight, at all really. I also had a bit of a scare, with my site being down for nearly three days and I was going stir crazy not being able to access it. Luckily it got fixed without anything being lost, so right now I have tasked myself with backing up all my posts, just in case something like that ever happens again!
There’s withcraft at play with this cake. Well perhaps not so much witchcraft and more likely science, but it’s the kind of science I can’t explain, so I will settle with sorcery. You see, to make this oh so simple ‘cheat’ chocolate cake, all you need is a Betty Crocker cake mix and a can of coke.
