When I was deciding which university to attend, my boyfriend, David, was not in the picture. Once I had accepted my unconditional offer at the University of Kent (a whole 260 miles away from my hometown in Devon), I was excited for the adventure that moving home and attending university would bring. Then, eight months before I was due to start, David sort of wondered into my life and has been here ever since.

Cinnamon Swirl Loaf (Vegan)

At the weekend I woke up at six AM, jumped out of bed (okay maybe I didn’t jump) and began my chores. By ten I had cleaned the house, done the laundry, and this cinnamon loaf was baking in the oven, filling the house with the most amazing smell.

Nostalgia Paired with Hints of Wanderlust..

 

Ever since the beginning of March, with the sun showing signs that it will soon become a constant in our lives again, I have been feeling such strong feelings of nostalgia and wanderlust. It is such a bittersweet emotion; memories of what has been and what could be. It makes me want to rewind to the past and fast forward to the future.

Wonderful Wednesday #21

And as quick as a flash, we are back with another Wonderful Wednesday. IN MARCH. How are we here?! March? Really?! I am happy that we are racing into spring but at the same time, I kind of want the world to slow down for just a minute so I can catch up. Despite my existential crisis of time, and lack of it, lots of wonderful things have been happening over the past seven days.
